Overall it was a great hotel, with warm clean pool, really good breakfast. Very pleasant stuff in the restaurant and bars. They don't do enormous amount of food variety. But it is good quality. And tasty. Good quality cocktails, pleasant atmosphere. I dont agree with comment that hotel is old. I think they take good care of it. And really try their best.

The location of the hotel is perfect, restaurants are nearby, hotel stay in a quite area. Breakfast is perfect.

Good location, just 5 minutes from the beach. A lot of stores are nearby. The food was great and varied. Live show every night, some of which were pretty good.

The hotel overall is really nice, the variety of food was very good and the location is also very convenient. It`s around 10 min from the airport and 20/30 min from the center. There is also convenient public transport.

Really excellent friendly and attentive staff. The place is like a small "oasis" between all the new white same-looking hotel blocks at Playa de Palma. Pool area was great with 2 options, palms and enough chairs. Other guests were a good mix of couples, families and youth travellers. The main more-historic building has been nicely extended with lower level additional accommodations with more modern rooms. Food and buffet were extraordinary good - high variety and clean dining area inside and outside.

My flight was cancelled and I wanted to stay closer to the airport for my flight the next morning. Sister property of the hotel I was previously staying at. Beautiful hotel. Lovely staff. The public areas were very impressive. Whilst there were a few kids there it felt more adult only. Relaxed vibe. The restaurant was really large and unlike the last hotel it wasn't like feeding time at the zoo trying to get to the various food stations. Food seemed higher quality too. I would 100% stay here over the Occidental Cala Vinas. Although that hotel I would say is better for families.

The all-inclusive option is great value for money, the food was great and variable during lunch and dinner each day with plenty of meat, seafood, and veggie options. The location is very close to the beach and sea. Palma is also easily reachable by public transport the bus stop is very close to the hotel. We had to check out early on our departure day and the hotel accommodated us with an early breakfast without hesitation.

This hotel is fabulous. Our 2nd time here and didn't disappoint. Staff are so friendly and helpful...nothing is too much trouble especially staff in pool bar. We booked 2 junior suites which were fabulous...v clean...towels changed everyday and cleaned too. We were all inclusive soft which suited our needs brilliantly no complaints. Pool towels provided and robes / slippers. Location is so handy to shops / bars and airport is only 10 mins away. A brilliant stay...well done Occidental Playa de Palma..we will hopefully be back next year.

Common areas were kept lovely and clean. All the staff we spoke to were friendly, helpful and they always seemed happy. Food was very good with a nice variety of items on the buffet and cooking station. All the items were topped up regularly. There was also a microwave in the restaurant if, like me, you want your food very hot. I think the staff in the restaurant worked exceptionally hard. Sometimes we had to wait a while to get a drink but it was not the fault of the staff. You could see they were busy. Perhaps the hotel needs one of two more people in there at busy times. If we were in the area again we would not hesitate to go back.
